Armed Self Defense Institute (ASDI) Policies
Class or Seat Reservation Cancelation
A Class or Seat in a class may be canceled up to one week prior to the start of the class for a full refund of all fees and/or prepayments. Within the week prior to a scheduled class, participants are subject to penalties. If the participant notifies ASDI within the week, but outside of 48 hours prior to the start of the class, the class may be rescheduled for another scheduled class within the next six months with a $10 rescheduling fee. If the participant chooses not to reschedule the class, or is unable to make any of the available classes, the participant will forfeit all associated fees. Failure to arrive at class without prior notification within the 48 hours before the class will result in the loss of all fees and/or prepayments.
Payment for Classes and Services
Payment for all Classes and or Services will be received prior to the completion of the class or service.
Finger Printing Service
Finger Printing may be included with a class for free or for an additional charge depending on the individual class. The finger printing service includes one or two finger printing cards with the participant’s prints on them; the prints will be done by an instructor or their assistant. While ASDI will do its best to ensure all prints are of acceptable quality, no express or implied warranty comes with the service. ASDI does not guarantee that the prints taken will be accepted by the law enforcement agency to which they are given.
Passport Photos Service
The passport photos service may be included with a class for free or for an additional charge depending on the individual class. The passport photo service includes one passport quality photo taken by an instructor or his assistant. While ASDI will do its best to ensure all photos are of acceptable quality, no express or implied warranty comes with the service. ASDI does not guarantee that the photos taken will be accepted by the law enforcement agency which they are given.
Privacy Policy
All information given to ASDI through its website, Classes, e-mail, or phone will be kept confidential. Only basic contact info will be kept on file as well as records that are required by state law regarding to the Utah Concealed Firearms Permit Class. Individual’s information will never be sold or given to a third party.
Live Ammunition
Live Ammunition is strictly forbidden within all ASDI classrooms. This regulation is for the safety of the students and the instructor. Live Ammunition is allowed at the portions of classes held on or at a shooting range, but ammunition should be left in its box until the Instructor or Range Safety Officer instructs the participants to do otherwise. Instructions regarding live ammunition must be followed or a participant may be removed from the class without refund or the option to reschedule the class.
